EJLTS will make every attempt to assure that the author(s) manuscript format is retained as submitted. The style manual followed for publication in EJLTS is the sixth edition Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA). You should also follow APA's electronic publication guidelines for citing electronic publications.

The electronic nature of EJLTS requires some minor formatting modifications to the APA style. They are:

  • No running heads are required.
  • Graphics included in your manuscript should be either in .gif or .jpg formats.
  • For any other style problems, match the APA style manual as close as possible.

All manuscripts should be e-mailed to the editorial assistant of EJLTS Tori Warwick: twarwick@ucdavis.edu with a copy sent to co-editor Barbara Merino: bjmerino@ucdavis.edu Please include the following in your e-mail message:

The Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to EJLTS will be reviewed anonymously by several referees. The editor and the field editors will do all tracking of manuscripts and reviewers. EJLTS will not review submissions previously published elsewhere, through print or electronic medium. All attempts will be made to ensure submissions will be reviewed within a month of e-mail submission to the editor. Manuscripts will be returned to the lead author when the review process is complete.

Acceptance and Publication

All accepted manuscripts will be electronically published twice a year. The EJLTS is not bound to a publishing company's requirements; therefore EJLTS will allow a more free exchange of ideas to occur. No attempt will be made to limit number of articles in each issue. New issues will be announced primarily via listservs relevant to the issues central to the EJLTS. There are no membership dues or publication fees for the EJLTS.
